School Visit by students from Colegio Alemán de Quito, Ecuador On June 17, 2026, a group of students from the Colegio Alemán in Quito (Ecuador) visited the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering. The 16 ninth-grade students have been in Hannover since the end of June as part of a student exchange program with the Humboldtschule Hannover. The Colegio Alemán in Quito offers an education in German, and many of its students hope to study in Germany someday. With this in mind, the group was given a tour of the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering. The highlight of the tour was the technology used in the cleanroom for micro and nanostructuring. We really enjoyed the visit! Jan Krügener
