18 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧. Few moments are more rewarding in life sciences than seeing a programme you’ve supported for years ultimately reach patients. Recently, a programme we have been involved with since 2008 reached a major regulatory milestone, culminating in the FDA approval of a new treatment option for patients facing a serious disease with previously limited therapeutic alternatives. Originally supported by Prolytic, and today part of Kymos Group, our German team has provided critical bioanalytical support throughout this journey. Think about that for a second. 18 years of: ▶️ Continuous scientific dedication. ▶️ Supporting multiple clinical studies. ▶️ Navigating changing regulatory requirements. ▶️ Close collaboration between teams and partners. It is a significant milestone for our team, but more importantly, it represents new hope for patients and families who now have access to an additional treatment option. We recently received a wonderful note from the programme sponsor that perfectly captures what long-term partnerships can achieve: 💬 "𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘶𝘯𝘸𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨-𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘢𝘺." This is exactly why we do what we do. Drug development is a long journey, and it is a privilege to contribute, even in one part, to bringing new therapies to the people who need them. To everyone who contributed to this programme over the years: thank you. Your commitment, expertise, and perseverance helped make this achievement possible. 👉 What is the longest project you have ever been part of? Let us know in the comments. 📸 Part of our current German Chromatography team at our Frankfurt facilities, continuing to support innovative drug development programmes every day.
