I flew out to the US Short-Course Meters Swimming Championships in Long Beach, California this weekend. My goal was to pick up a gold, and somehow I managed to leave with 7 (including relays)! Personal highlights include wins in the 50m and 100m Free, and I managed to beat out my boyhood idol Matt Biondi in the process (in all fairness, he is 10 years older than me!). Red eye flight back to Tokyo from now, and back at it in the morning!!
