Closing out the 2025 swim year on a grateful note: The year looked like a bust when I had to withdraw from Masters World Champs with a torn calf, but it ended better than I could have imagined: This weekend I went 23.79 in the 50m Free - that will hopefully make me #1 in the US and #2 worldwide for my age group once the year is over and the times are verified - and our team also won the SCM Championship in Long Beach again. I’m now just .68 seconds off the masters world record for my age bracket - That’s a fair amount of time for a sprint, but gonna see if I can get there in 2026!!
