Strategic work often happens across different parts of the business and is not always visible to everyone involved. Recently in Berlin, colleagues came together to share perspectives on our collaboration with VLY. The conversation covered how VLY approaches plant-based products, how KWS contributes with pea protein, and how this collaboration continues to evolve in practice. What stood out was not only the outcome, but the exchange itself. Bringing different perspectives together helped make the work more tangible for colleagues beyond the immediate project and offered a clearer view of how teams can connect across the organization. This kind of dialogue helps people better understand how their own work fits into a broader context and where the company is heading. It also reflects an important part of how we work at KWS: -We take time to connect teams -We share context across functions -We support people in anticipating what lies ahead and acting with that understanding This is foresight in practice: understanding what is coming and preparing for it through everyday decisions.
