Did you know? KWC didn't always just manufacture faucets. It all began in 1874, when Adolf Karrer establishes a business in Unterkulm for manufacturing mechanical music boxes. Following the death of Adolf Karrer, his widow continues to run the company under the management of Eugen Weber. With the entry of Walter Luginbühl as the pioneer of the first small "gas taps", the music box production was finally discontinued and thus the company for the production of faucets, called "Karrer and Weber, Faucet Manufacturer", was founded. Then in 1919 the family corporation "Karrer Weber and Cie" was established. Die KWC hat nicht immer nur Armaturen hergestellt. Es fing alles im Jahre 1874 an, als Adolf Karrer in Unterkulm ein Unternehmen zur Herstellung mechanischer Musikspieldosen gründete. Erst nach dem Tod von Adolf Karrer führt seine Gattin die Firma weiter unter der Geschäftsleitung von Eugen Weber. Mit dem Eintritt von Walter Luginbühl als Urvater der ersten kleinen "Gashähnli" wurde die Musikspieldosenfabrikation endgültig eingestellt und somit entstand die Firma zur Herstellung von Armaturen "Karrer und Weber, Armaturenfabrik".
