Kupando GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Jörn Aldag as Chair of its Board of Directors. This appointment marks a significant milestone as Kupando prepares to transition into a clinical-stage organization. Jörn joins the Board with more than 30 years of executive leadership in the biotechnology sector, including his tenure as CEO of Hookipa Pharma and uniQure, where he led the company to the first-ever Western gene therapy approval. Jörn’s extensive experience in scaling platform-based companies will be instrumental as we advance our lead candidate, KUP101. A differentiated dual TLR 4/7 agonist, KUP101 is designed to stimulate innate immunity and induce trained innate immunity to address critical unmet needs in oncology and infectious diseases.
