You can't dream about a job you've never seen. Saturday, we changed that. 🧑‍🚀 We took students to the Udvar-Hazy National Air and Space Museum. We started at the Kuma Lab in Georgetown South with engineers from BAE Systems, SPARC Research, and Leidos. Michelle Moats from Dream in NOVA talked about what it really takes to become an astronaut. Then we hit the museum. Space shuttles. Satellites. A paper airplane competition. One student couldn't stop staring at the space shuttle. Another girl said how amazing it was to be so close to airplanes. That's why we do this. Classroom learning matters. Hands-on experience makes it real. Thank you Dream in NOVA for partnering with us.
