Wie wint het WK voetbal? 🤔⚽ Computerwetenschappers van het DTAI Sports Analytics Lab waagden zich al aan een - berekend - gokje. Ze ontwikkelden een simulatie die het verloop van het WK naadloos voorspelt. Het model houdt rekening met de resultaten van vroegere wedstrijden om het niveau van de teams in te schatten en de kansen van elk land te voorspellen. 🧐 Spoiler: Spanje is topfavoriet en heeft 24% kans om de beker in de wacht te slepen. They developed a simulation that seamlessly predicts the outcome of the World Cup. The model takes into account the results of previous matches to assess each teams’ skill level and predict their country’s chances. 🧐 Spoiler: Spain is the favorite and has a 24% chance of lifting the trophy.
