Hey Connections, I started my new journey as an Industrial Trainee at Axis Max Life, and let me inform you... It was a cultural shock on day one and it still is. Then one thought came and knocked, this is going to be your life, your career, the environment which will become an integral part of you. I was nervous and still am, but not afraid, not reluctant, just trying to figure out how things work. When I got into a CA Firm for my first year of articleship. I thought that all my actions will have an impact and I will have to face the repercussions for it, but I didn't know that life would take it too much seriously. In our field nothing goes unnoticed if done properly by the person above you. It's possible that your mistake may come into notice by the time when you actually forget whether you have even done that work yourself or not. Yesss that happens. This course tests every part within our meninges....But then take a deep breath and think You're not the only one going through this and it gives the major push to work harder and better. Wasn't it the purpose of this course to make you fine as a sharp knife? This course is beautiful, though some rough edges are there, but what doesn't have it, right?... During my 1st year of articleship; I thought, one mistake can impact a client who is not so big, but being an industrial trainee, one mistake could impact a nationwide company... Although we have seniors sitting above us to look after our mistakes. But thinking about this this way makes you more responsible towards your work. But don't overburden yourself with that thought.... we are just trainees, we are here to learn.... we are supposed to make mistakes, we are supposed to be scolded (don't take it otherwise).... In the end learning, earning, being healthy, being happy, being with your family matters...
