For me, this transaction: - confirms that PBSA is clearly on the radar of global institutional investors, including major players like Macquarie Asset Management; - sends a positive signal to the Polish CRE market, particularly its student housing segment, which activity is still subdued; - raises an interesting question: will MILESTONE Co-Living become an internal operator of a PBSA platform that Macquarie Group may decide to build, or will it continue to focus on being a third-party, asset-light operator? Wishing Milestone and Macquarie, and of course BaseStack Living (Justin Hamer) which was also part of the broader deal, a bright future in their European PBSA endeavour.
