Day 33/100 Where is Tata Consumer outperforming ITC? After spending time comparing both businesses, I think the answer is growth. ITC is a mature company. It already has established brands, a nationwide distribution network, and a strong market position. Tata Consumer is in a different phase. It is still expanding. Still acquiring brands. Still entering new categories. And still trying to increase its share of the consumer wallet. Over the last few years, the company has added brands like Organic India and Ching's to strengthen its portfolio. Instead of protecting an existing position, it is actively building a larger one. That's why revenue growth has been stronger. What I find interesting is that both companies are solving different problems. ITC is trying to maintain and strengthen a leadership position. Tata Consumer is trying to create one. One company focuses on maximizing profitability. The other focuses on accelerating growth. And that's exactly where Tata Consumer seems to have the edge today. If ITC represents stability, Tata Consumer represents ambition. And sometimes, ambition grows faster than stability. #Finance #Linkedin #100DaysWithTVS #ITC #TataConsumer Parth Verma The Valuation School
