I spent the afternoon at Marlborough House for an energy round table. The panel brought together voices from genuinely different backgrounds, from Commonwealth representatives to consultants and the diversity shaped an interesting discussion🌍 A few things stood out to me: - Energy is not just about power generation, it touches water access, economic development, and affordability in ways that are easy to overlook. - Energy alone contributes roughly three-quarters of global emissions, which puts real weight behind the urgency of effective implementation. - A multi-stakeholder lens matters. Every speaker came back to the same point, real progress means bringing communities, firms, and governments to the same table. - Behind every statistic are real lives being affected, and the best solutions keep sight of that, where bottom up approaches were discussed. I particularly enjoyed the panel speakers emphasis on implementation and not just policy discussion. A huge thank you to all the panel speakers who made the day so insightful😊 London Clean Energy Roundtable
