This London Tech Week, our focus is on how we scale the UK’s most innovative companies! The UK has no shortage of amazing deeptech businesses, but too often they lack the capital to grow and compete internationally. We were therefore delighted to announce yesterday that the British Business Bank is working with Playground Global towards a cornerstone commitment of up to £150m into their new UK-focused fund to back deeptech scale-ups. This is our biggest ever commitment to date and marks an important step in our mission to build deeper pools of scale-up capital in the UK.
