Twenty-some years ago, I bought a picture frame at a thrift store that still had a photo of a man inside. He looked too nice to throw away. So I kept him. I named him "Joel". I have absolutely no idea who he really is, but he's become part of the family. Based on his Minnesota Twins tee, I figured he likes baseball. I'm pretty sure he owns the boat he is seen in. "Joel" has spent the last two decades keeping an eye on my leftovers and has been the punchline of countless jokes. I have considered starting an online campaign to locate the real "Joel". Tell me, would you?
