A Success Story which inspired many of our Green Par Team Members ..!! From Telephone Operator to One of India’s Top 20 General Managers – A Journey That Redefines Success.   Twenty-five years ago, I worked with a young professional whose sincerity, humility, and hunger to learn made her stand apart from the crowd. Even then, there was something special about her. Today, seeing Lakshmi Sridhar as the General Manager of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach & The Bheemili Resort managed by Accor, and being recognized among the Top 20 General Managers in India, fills me with immense pride.   Her story is a powerful reminder that success isn't about where you start—it's about how consistently you keep moving forward.   Lakshmi began her hospitality journey as a Telephone Operator at Hotel Green Park, learning the basics of guest service and operational excellence. She then broadened her horizons with HSBC, gaining valuable exposure in executive support, procurement, and stakeholder management.   The turning point came when she joined Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager. Over the next 12 years, she embraced every opportunity that came her way—serving as Sales Manager, Guest Relations Manager, and Operations Manager before finally earning the coveted role of General Manager.   Under her leadership, the hotel achieved remarkable milestones, including strong revenue growth, STR Rank #1, an impressive RGI index, and the prestigious Green Key Certification, reflecting her commitment to sustainable hospitality and people-centric leadership.   What inspires me most is that she never forgot her roots.
