A strong interest for the #AW09 at #Verticon! We were proud to showcase the AW09 mock-up on the booth of Metro Aviation, Inc., a leading U.S.-based provider of customized helicopter solutions, specializing in air medical and law enforcement operations, and our distributor for the AW09 in the United States and Canada. Throughout the event, the next-generation single-engine helicopter attracted significant attention from operators and industry partners. Many of our worldwide distributors were also present, introducing the AW09 to their customers and discussing its future capabilities. The AW09 sets a new benchmark in its class, featuring one of the largest cabins in the category, combined with smooth handling, superior manoeuvrability and low vibration for an exceptionally refined ride. The programme has now entered its final phase ahead of entry into service in Europe. The first serial aircraft (#S6) has begun selective customer demonstration flights, offering operators the opportunity to experience the helicopter they have committed to. The aircraft will initially be deployed for passenger transport, before expanding to Emergency Medical Services (#EMS), Law Enforcement and Utility missions.
