#Papaya production in 📍Tenerife and Gran Canaria is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative to produce from overseas. Its short distance to the European market, more #sustainable farming, and no need for air transport are key advantages. Shipping by sea ensures fast, reliable delivery to Central Europe within 5–7 days. Last week, Alberto Hoffmann and Andres De La Nuez were on site and visited various producers. This allowed them to see that the region is growing significantly and that the new cultivation areas are full of potential.
