On the ground in Turkey Our quality expert from KÖLLA Izmir, Ece YEDİBAŞLAR, recently visited one of our suppliers to review the packing process for our apricot programme and assess product quality directly on site. During the visit, she also spent time in the orchards in the Aydın region, seeing apricots, cherries and nectarines at origin. Gaining these first-hand insights into the production process and the condition of the fruit on the trees is invaluable and cannot be replaced by remote assessments. Visits like these are not only important from an operational perspective, but also for strengthening partnerships and ensuring a shared understanding of quality expectations.
