The publication of the VIOLETTE study in BJU International (BJUI and BJUI Compass journals) marks an important milestone, both for the teams involved and in its clinical evaluation. This prospective, multicentre European phase II study evaluated targeted microwave ablation (TMA) guided by OBT Fusion® via KOELIS Trinity® in the treatment of localised intermediate-risk prostate cancer. Conducted across 6 centres and involving 76 treated patients, this publication reflects a rigorous collaborative effort driven by clinical teams committed to advancing the evaluation of focal therapies.
