🇬🇧 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛₂𝗜𝗖𝗘💧 Last week, we reached an important next milestone within the GTD-H project: the development of a Mitsubishi hydrogen internal combustion engine (H₂ICE) for maritime applications. Together with Mitsubishi Engine and TNO, we successfully conducted a field test with the prototype hydrogen internal combustion engine, integrated into a Mitsubishi generator set. This milestone is the result of years of collaboration in the development and validation of hydrogen combustion technology for maritime applications. The successful test demonstrates the potential of hydrogen combustion as a practical and reliable solution for the maritime energy transition. We are proud of this achievement and would like to thank Mitsubishi Engine and TNO for the excellent cooperation within the GTD-H project. Later this year, we will share more about the results and next steps. 🇳🇱 𝗩𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗷𝗸: 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗛₂𝗜𝗖𝗘💧 Afgelopen week bereikten we een belangrijke volgende stap binnen het GTD-H-project: de ontwikkeling van een Mitsubishi waterstofverbrandingsmotor (H₂ICE) voor maritieme toepassingen. Samen met Mitsubishi Engine en TNO hebben wij met succes een fieldtest uitgevoerd met de prototype waterstofverbrandingsmotor, geïntegreerd in een Mitsubishi-generatorsetopstelling. Deze mijlpaal is het resultaat van jarenlange samenwerking op het gebied van de ontwikkeling en validatie van waterstofverbrandingstechnologie voor maritieme toepassingen. De succesvolle test laat zien dat waterstofverbranding een veelbelovende en praktisch inzetbare oplossing kan zijn binnen de energietransitie van de maritieme sector. Wij zijn trots op deze stap en bedanken Mitsubishi Engine en TNO voor de prettige samenwerking binnen het GTD-H-project. Later dit jaar delen we meer over de resultaten en vervolgstappen.
