Summer Research at n²star At the Koç University Nanofabrication and Nanocharacterization Center for Scientific and Technological Advanced Research (n2STAR), we are proud to host a group of talented and curiosity-driven undergraduate and graduate students from across Türkiye as part of our summer research program. Under the guidance of Çağdaş Dağ, Ph.D., students explore structural bases of ubiquitin and ubiquitin like post-translational modification systems—a critical area with broad implications in cancer treatment, drug discovery and systems biology. Their work spans recombinant protein expression and purification to advanced structural techniques such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopyand Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS). This hands-on experience equips them with essential technical skills while deepening their understanding of proteins in solution. We're proud to support the next generation of researchers and their growing contributions to science. It’s always a pleasure to witness young scientists dive into complex topics with such enthusiasm and focus. Their questions, curiosity, and teamwork made the research program truly enjoyable.
