Rethinking how we build — how far have we progressed in the #transformation of the construction sector? What can we learn from #sustainable #pilotprojects? Yesterday, the #jury convened for this year’s German Sustainability Award for Architecture — with Thorsten Helbig once again participating. Since 2013, the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council and the Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis have jointly presented this #award — an award that reflects the ongoing transformation in the construction sector and serves as a platform for forward-looking architectural solutions. Once again, pioneering projects were reviewed, distinguished by their exemplary combination of #innovation, #sustainability, and #architecturalquality. The nominees for this year’s award will be announced in the coming weeks. We thank the organizers for spotlighting sustainable pioneers and fostering meaningful debates! Real transformation is only possible through #interdisciplinary #collaboration — which is why we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute our perspective to this important award year after year.
