Every organization starts somewhere; this happens to be our first LinkedIn post. What started as an idea among students last November has become an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world consulting experience. We are UCF’s very own student-led consulting group, Knights Consulting Group (KCG). You may be wondering what KCG is. KCG is a selective student organization focused on providing students with real, hands-on experience in strategy and analysis through 12-week consulting projects with corporate partners. At the heart of what we are building is the goal of creating meaningful opportunities for students to apply what they learn in the classroom, grow professionally, and build lasting relationships with industry leaders who care about developing the next generation of talent. None of this would have been possible without the people who supported us before KCG even officially existed. Throughout this journey, we connected with students and faculty from universities across the country who had already built and led student consulting organizations. Their willingness to share their experiences and insights helped shape what KCG is becoming today, and we are incredibly grateful for their guidance and the path they helped us navigate. We would like to recognize the following individuals who shared their time and insights with us as we built KCG: Misha Gandhi — University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign | EntreCORPS | Consulting for Startups Andrew Allen — University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign | Illinois Business Consulting Jacob Kinsey — University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign | Illinois Business Consulting Fiona Charlton — University of Chicago | Eckhart Consulting Leon R. — Stanford University | Stanford Consulting Joele Ballouz — University of Michigan | Nexecon Consulting Group Sachit Hegde — Rutgers University | Rutgers Consulting Group (RCG) Krish Kapila — Purdue University | Consult Your Community Purdue Chapter Manav Agrawal — Ohio State University | Buckeye Undergraduate Consulting Club We would also like to recognize several members of the UCF community whose support and guidance have been instrumental in helping KCG take shape: Michael Lynch, PhD/MBA — KCG Faculty Advisor | Professor, UCF College of Business Denise McFadden, MBA — KCG Faculty Advisor | Director of Professionalism Programming, Office of Professional Development Tiffany Hughes — Chief of Operations, UCF College of Business Kelli Morales, M.A. — Executive Assistant to the Dean & COO, UCF College of Business Cameron Ford — Executive Director, Blackstone LaunchPad | Associate Professor, UCF Christopher Leo, D.B.A. — Associate Chair | Senior Lecturer, UCF College of Business Rebecca Bennett — Chair, Department of Management | Professor, UCF College of Business
