On #WorldMalariaDay we highlight the immense value that strong community systems bring to the fight against infectious diseases.💪 In Kenya, #malaria remains a deadly and persistent threat, affecting an estimated 4 million people each year. In Kisumu County, students are leading prevention efforts through school health clubs, raising awareness and driving behavior change through art, poetry and peer education. Strengthening health and community systems is the foundation of an effective malaria response, enabling the delivery of proven interventions and new tools at scale to achieve real impact for communities.
