What a fantastic experience at Indoor Air 2026 Singapore last week! 🏢 We are grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and exchange ideas with researchers, building scientists, consultants, designers, and industry professionals from around the world who are working towards healthier, more resilient built environments. Nikki’s presentation highlighted an important challenge facing many cities across Southeast Asia: how do we balance indoor air quality, moisture control, energy efficiency, ventilation, and climate resilience in increasingly dense urban developments? The discussions throughout the conference reinforced a key message - creating healthy buildings is not about optimising a single performance metric. It requires a holistic approach where building design, ventilation strategies, material selection, and occupant wellbeing are considered together. Thank you to everyone who attended, shared their perspectives, and contributed to the conversation. We are honoured to be part of a global community committed to advancing healthier indoor environments. If you would like to continue the discussion, stay tuned for our upcoming CPD session on Material Selection for Healthy Indoor Air Quality, where we will explore how building materials can influence indoor environments.
