I often see how our solutions change when customers are more involved in the development. We prioritize differently and define success more precisely. Every Thursday I, Kinga Krajewska, Senior Agile Coach, host short, thought-provoking sessions to help my colleagues work more effectively with customers. I see potential in working more with agile principles across KMD, because we exist to solve some of society's most critical challenges - and agile forces us to keep checking if we actually are. The purpose is not simply to deliver faster, but to deliver the right thing at the right time, based on real needs rather than fixed plans. In practice, I want us to meet with customers regularly and ask: “Do we still understand your problem the same way?”, not just: “Here is what you asked for.” That's what Product Discovery is for - an essential part of agile product development that acts as a filter before anything enters the backlog. Discovery doesn't change what you build. It changes what you decide not to build. And that's where the waste disappears - not in the features themselves, but in all the features that never should have existed.
