For as long as I’ve lived in Germany, I kept hearing the same thing: “Taxes here are too complicated. Don’t even try to deal with them yourself — find a Steuerberater.” That idea always bothered me. Why should something so fundamental feel so inaccessible? Why isn’t there a system that makes taxes simple — something that helps people understand and manage them without fear or confusion? Last year, together with my co-founders Moritz Kuder and Yash Gadiya, we began building AnyTax with one clear idea — to make taxes feel simple and connected. Our vision wasn’t to create just another tool, but to build an embedded layer that seamlessly integrates tax into the financial ecosystem. Now, as we step out of stealth and officially launch AnyTax, we’re also excited to share the news of our fundraise from earlier this year. Our mission is to give people clarity and confidence when dealing with taxes — turning a complex process into a natural part of financial life.
