We just won the “AI – Travel Services” category for Klook Nearby at the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026! An AI-powered map with chat, Klook Nearby is designed to help travelers answer the critical question of "𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?" when they’re already at their travel destination but run out of things to do. It brings together maps, experience listings, and conversational guidance into a single interface, making it easier to discover and book activities based on a traveler’s location, preferences, and timing. During beta trials, 71.4% of eligible users tried Klook Nearby, and 56.7% returned within a week to use it again. A strong signal of demand. Beyond convenience, it also expands discovery, helping travelers go beyond the usual attractions while giving visibility to more merchants. The product vision was led out of Singapore by Sam Kwong, together with different teams across markets. This recognition is a meaningful milestone. Not a destination, but a beginning. We’ll continue to invest in deeper personalization, more advanced conversational capabilities, and broader global rollout as we rethink how travelers discover experiences in an AI-powered world. #SBRTechExcellenceAwards
