Looking Back at a Year of Creativity & Collaboration Some projects go beyond visuals. They leave an imprint on the soul. In June, we had the privilege of collaborating with the extraordinary Maaya Wakasugi, a Japanese calligraphy artist whose work merges tradition with contemporary spirit. His strokes aren’t just characters. They’re movement, memory, and meaning. Blending kanji, hiragana, katakana, and abstract brushwork, Maaya transforms language into pure emotion. His live performances, known for their quiet power and poetic intensity, have moved audiences across the world. Together with Japan Creative Centre and LUMINE SINGAPORE, we co-created Shaping Stories in Ink — a cultural exchange where calligraphy became conversation. At Kloo.Ground, these are the moments that matter. Where art becomes experience. Where boundaries blur, and stories bring us closer. As 2025 draws to a close, we are grateful for the chance to shape stories that matter. Here’s to more soulful collaborations in the year ahead. #KlooGround #MaayaWakasugi #ShapingStoriesInInk #JapanCreativeCentre #LUMINESG
