In the Natural Sciences, it ranks 52nd and in the Engineering & Technology category, KIT even ranks 42nd worldwide 🌍 KIT achieves overall strong rankings, with three subjects placing among the top 2 percent worldwide. Here, Chemical Engineering ranks 25th, followed by Materials Science at 26th and Mechanical Engineering at 32nd. Chemistry, which ranks 50th, is also among the international leaders 🛠️🧪 Additional KIT disciplines are represented in the 51 – 100 ranking group. These include civil engineering, earth sciences, geology, geophysics, architecture, and library and information management.
