When we arrived at Wurth Elektronik for commissioning, the nameplate for the new test stand was already mounted at its designated spot on the wall. After more than two years of preparation, the team was ready before we even walked in. That kind of ownership from a customer is rare. The new vertical torque test stand, capable of up to 200 Nm, will allow Würth Elektronik to test and develop spacers and fastening elements for electronics and PCB manufacturing entirely in-house. It was great to see how many ideas for future applications are already in the pipeline. The project itself took patience. First contact came through Arnold Umformtechnik, the proposal went through numerous updates over two years, and commissioning required careful preparation on both sides. Seeing it come to life made every revision worthwhile. Thank you to our colleague Josef Pirzer for his dedication throughout - from the very first conversation to handover. We look forward to supporting Würth Elektronik with their upcoming testing and development projects!
