I spend a lot of time thinking about how to design experiences for others. When I get to be the guest, I don't just experience it — I want to learn from it. Last week, Apple Ads hosted a Women's Leadership lunch I haven't stopped thinking about — not because it was beautiful (it was), but because every single element had a point of view. Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 ACADEMY and former racing driver, sat at our table. Her perspective on competing in spaces not built for women, then choosing to build differently didn't feel like a keynote. It felt like a conversation you want to immediately share with your friends (and I did). Michelin-starred Chef Emily Roux, featured on Apple TV's Knife Edge, didn't just feed us — she made us part of the experience. The food was extraordinary! Every choice was intentional and created cohesion — from the speaker to the chef to the menu to the women in the room — all in service of one thing: 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Enjoying an experience is one thing. Feeling it — and wanting to relive it — is what creates connection long after it ends. That's the standard I'm taking back to my teams, and I’m deeply grateful to have experienced it firsthand -- thank you Lauren Fry!
