What is a 'Vuggy Vein' telling us about the system? 👈 🧐 🤚 In this clip, Senior Project Geologist Mike Kilbourne highlights a Vuggy Vein with large pyrite crystals in drill hole KLM26-011 at Kirkland Lake Discovery. 🟡 These open-space textures form when hydrothermal fluids move through fractured rock, creating cavities in which sulphide minerals such as pyrite can crystallize. It’s one of several geological features helping the team understand how mineralization is distributed within the broader Mirado system. 🔩 Recent drilling continues to show both broad zones of mineralization and higher-grade intervals across the corridor, reinforcing the evolving system-scale model at Mirado.
