Fifteen years ago, Kiewit made an important commitment: give the people closest to the work a direct voice in how it gets done safely. That commitment became Craft Voice in Safety (CVIS). Since then, CVIS has helped strengthen trust between craft and management, identify hazards more quickly and develop practical solutions driven by the people performing the work every day. The impact goes beyond safety. CVIS has created stronger communication, greater collaboration and a shared commitment to making our projects safer and more productive. As we celebrate 15 years of CVIS, we want to thank every CVIS member, CVIS Lead, alumnus and supporter who has helped make this program a success.
