On Monday, June 15, 2026,  AB 2429 passed out of the Senate Human Services Committee with bipartisan support. Thank you @josh.becker.ca and committee members for your continued support! Now it heads over to the Senate Education Committee. This bill streamlines administration work for Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ECMHC) across California State Preschool, General Child Care Development, and Family Child Care Home Education Network  programs. Less paperwork means more time for consultants to build strong, supportive relationships with the key adults in a child's life—leading to safer, more inclusive classrooms.
