BCom graduates are getting hired at McKinsey, Blackstone, and Barclays. Not through an IIM. Directly from campus. I spent time digging through LinkedIn profiles of SRCC alumni to understand exactly where they are getting placed and for what roles. What I found was more impressive than I expected. Companies across Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, and FMCG have been hiring directly from SRCC. And not just for back office or support roles. For real, front facing, career defining positions. Now here is the part that changes everything for you. If these companies are willing to hire a BCom or BCom Hons graduate directly from campus, their eligibility criteria is clearly not restricted to Tier 1 MBA colleges. Which means you can apply for the exact same roles off campus. Right now. Without an IIM degree. The opportunity exists. Most people just do not know where to look. But let me be honest with you here. Applying is the easy part. Getting shortlisted and actually landing the job is a different game. If you are going up against SRCC graduates, your resume, your technical skills, and your communication need to be at least as strong as theirs, if not stronger. You are not competing on college name. You are competing on everything else. Make sure everything else is exceptional. So I put together a list. It includes every company that has hired from SRCC through campus placements, the exact roles they hired for, and the category each company falls under, whether that is Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, or FMCG. This is not generic career advice. This is a specific, actionable list that tells you exactly which companies to target and what roles to go after. Drop your email ID in the comments and I will send it across. If you know someone who is figuring out their career and would benefit from this, tag them below. This list might save them months of confusion.
