𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 50-𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 2021. It took four bloody years to grind our way to a peak of 90 last year. And now? Two months. That’s all it took to fall back to 50-ish. If there’s a record for the fastest headcount collapse in history, we probably just broke it. This has been the most important and expensive lesson I’ve ever paid for: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫. 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 "𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒖𝒎 𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒊", 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛. Can I still say we’re the biggest in Selangor? Fuck it. Who actually cares anyway? If you can’t eat the grape, just say it’s sour. Move on. Find something bigger to chase. So now this is not the time to chill. It’s time to try again for the mill. Welcome back again to tireless nights, long days, depressing thoughts, empty bank accounts, plenty of headaches, heartaches, tribulations and a whole lot of pain.
