Innovation will eat the world | COO @ Remote Optix
The reality we face is that within the U.S. and its allied nations, there exists a pervasive reluctance to acknowledge reliance upon or appreciation for DJI's significant contributions to the advancement of commercial drone technology. This hesitancy stems from a broader cultural stigma surrounding the recognition of Chinese technological prowess. As a business proprietor and patriotic American citizen, I can attest to the palpable nature of this stigma. And boy to do I wish the tables were turned. However, we must confront the inconvenient truth that prohibiting the use of reliable Chinese-manufactured drones will not, in and of itself, enhance American competitiveness in the realm of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) hardware production. History has consistently demonstrated that policy-making rooted in fear and protectionism rarely propels the United States toward positive progress. Our nation's success has invariably been predicated upon our capacity to innovate, manufacture, and conduct ourselves in a manner that surpasses our global counterparts. We only win when we do/make/behave better than others; let's not lose sight of this. #droneindustry #suas #commercialdrones #djiban #drones #progressoverpolitics Chris Fink Werner von Stein Skip Fredricks Vic Moss Tim Pruss Aaron Lambert Matt Rowland Darrell Williams Nitin Gupta Greg Reverdiau Joshua Pruitt David Kovar Kelvin Lam
