New order in the United States: KHD strengthens its grinding footprint in the Americas Our subsidiary Humboldt Wedag Inc. has been awarded a contract for the engineering, procurement, and supply of equipment for a new cement grinding installation in the United States. The new installation will feature KHD’s Comflex® grinding circuit, incorporating key proprietary equipment such as roller press, ball mill, SKS dynamic separator, static V-separator, and main process fan. The proven Comflex® circuit enables high grinding efficiency, operational flexibility, and the production of a broad range of cement types. The order reinforces our position as a leading provider of advanced grinding solutions and highlights the industry’s increasing demand for energy-efficient technologies that support high-fineness cements and the growing use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). With this project, KHD further expands its presence in the Americas and continues to help customers advance more sustainable and future-ready cement production.
