Owning a business taught me something I never fully appreciated before: Revenue solves a lot of problems. But relationships create the revenue. When I launched FreshPress, I spent a lot of time thinking about products, pricing, equipment, and operations. What ultimately made the biggest difference? Showing up. Showing up at community events. Showing up for customers. Showing up for local business owners. Showing up consistently, even on days when business was slow. The partnerships, referrals, and opportunities that helped us grow weren't created through advertising alone. They came from conversations, trust, and being genuinely invested in the people around us. Looking back, some of the most valuable business lessons had nothing to do with business at all. They were about people. No matter the industry, I've found that the strongest opportunities tend to come from relationships you've built long before you need them. #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #BusinessDevelopment #Sales #Hospitality #Community #Networking
