Bio : Berkay Giriş is an exceptional software engineering leader and Software Engineering Team Lead at Trendyol Go by Uber Eats — a true testament to what technical excellence, strategic career choices, and visionary leadership can achieve. After earning his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at one of Turkey's most prestigious institutions, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Giriş pursued his Master of Science in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), one of Europe’s elite technical universities. Deciding to pivot his focus entirely toward the tech industry and hands-on engineering, he became a master dropout and went on to build a world-class foundation at prominent organizations, including Aselsan, Commencis, and OBSS . Having spent over 5 years at Turkey's tech giant Trendyol, climbing the ranks from a Software Engineer to a Software Engineering Team Lead, he now spearheads engineering teams at "Trendyol Go by Uber Eats," managing high-throughput systems that impact millions of lives.
