I had the pleasure to visit Kurdistan, part of Iraq, for the first time last week and to be honest: Please, let me go back ⛰️ ☀️ What a beautiful country, with even more beautiful people. Together with Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw-Gruppe), GFA Consulting Group GmbH is implementing a project under the GIZ Iraq Program "Employment Prospects for Socio-economic Integration (EPSI) of Refugees IDPs and Host Communities". Under the umbrella "From Classroom to Careers" we kicked off our activities together with the stakeholders 🚀 We asked ourselves the question how to improve and strengthen the TVET sector to foster employment. And once more, a lot lead to the fact that the private sector involvement will be the key. What me and my colleague Stefanie Feilke witnessed were empty VET center, even though excelled equipped. Günter Diewald and team, let us not longer keep them empty, but fill them with trainings! And by the way, I was able to renew my friend- and working relationship to Laurine Ardjelan and Marleen Winter from bbw😊 It is such a pleasure to work on this together!
