It was a pleasure to host Sustainable Food Systems Ireland (SFSI) and Tanzania Livestock Research Institute (TALIRI) at our Tanzania facility yesterday in Dar-es Salaam, bringing together partners across research, industry and innovation. The visit underscores the accelerating collaboration between Ireland and Africa, and how these partnerships translate into tangible progress on the continent. By connecting global expertise with deep local understanding, we are helping to build more sustainable, resilient and future-fit food systems. Our conversations focused on the role of innovation, science and capability building in shaping the future of food and beverage, and the importance of working together to scale solutions that respond to evolving nutritional, sustainability and consumer needs. We believe that partnerships like these are critical to unlocking long-term impact; strengthening value chains, enabling knowledge exchange, and supporting growth across Tanzania.
