Our purpose, Inspiring Food, Nourishing Life guides our actions and decisions. Since 2011, we’ve been working alongside Concern Worldwide to support communities across Africa to develop more sustainable sources of nutrition from local resources. Our team recently travelled to Tana River County, Kenya to meet the farmers and families taking part in the ALIVE (Agricultural Livelihoods Improving Value Chains and the Environment) programme, seeing firsthand how climate resilient farming practices, processing expertise, and nutritional insight are helping to build stronger, more food secure systems at a local level. By combining our science backed expertise with Concern’s on-the-ground impact, we’re helping to tackle food insecurity and support more resilient livelihoods.
