On Friday, we celebrated a milestone with the expansion of our biotechnology-enabled site in Carrigaline, Ireland, strengthening our global production capabilities in enzymes and reaffirming our commitment to the future of sustainable nutrition. Enzymes are at the heart of many everyday food and beverage products. They can help make food and beverage products easier to digest, improve taste, support cleaner labels by removing unwanted components, and unlock better nutritional outcomes, while also reducing environmental impact, by increasing efficiencies in certain processes. Through advanced biotechnology, we’re harnessing these powerful capabilities to help create products that are healthier, more enjoyable, and more sustainable for people everywhere. This expansion marks a further step in the development of our global biotechnology business, and follows the opening of the Kerry Biotechnology Centre in Leipzig, last year.
