Unpopular opinion: most construction software was not built for construction people. It was built for investors who wanted a large addressable market. So it does 70% of the job for every industry and 100% of the job for none of them. The contractors who are winning right now are the ones who stopped trying to make generic tools fit and started demanding software built specifically for how they work.
