This weekend, my son Dominik (“Niko”) graduated from Texas State University. I had a lot of time to reflect and realize how grateful we are the people who helped shape his journey. It truly takes a village and strong community to raise great kids. Francesca and I had Niko when we were 21 years old, fresh out of cosmetology school, just trying to figure life out one day at a time. Seeing him become the first in our family to graduate from college was a proud moment we will never forget. We’re beyond excited for his next chapter as he pursues dental school. One thing our pastor said recently really stuck with me: “If you raise your kids, you will spoil your grandchildren.
