The Kent State School of Fashion celebrated 20 years of its NYC Fashion program with a Portfolio Showcase in Manhattan's Garment District. Recent fashion design and merchandising graduates presented their work to alumni, industry partners and university leadership. Even special guest Fern Mallis, the "Godmother of Fashion" and a recent inductee into the school's Hall of Fame attended the event. Twenty years of immersive fashion education in New York City and the talent in the room made it clear why Kent State is ranked in the top 25 fashion programs in the world and the No. 1 university-based fashion program in the United States. 💙💛
