Multi-Asset Investor | Thematic & Sustainable Investments
š Textbooks give you the rules. Experience gives you the edge. I spent my nights in the university reading The Intelligent Investor. I had the hunger to be an investor at 16, but I quickly realized that while textbooks give you the rules, they don't give you the experience. The most impactful lessons didn't happen in a lecture hall. They happened in student investment clubs. That was where I found a community of like-minded peers who pushed me to grow. That community changed everything for me. It's exactly why I advise SMU Sustainable Investment club today. It is my way of paying forward the advice I received early in my career. Mentoring these students isn't just about giving back, it keeps me energized and helps me see the future of our industry through their eyes. SMUSI is now recruiting for their Investment Research Division. It is the type of program I wish I had as a student. What you will gain: š Real World Skills: Learn how big market shifts actually play out in real companies. š¬ Practical Research: Learn a structured way to analyze companies and markets that goes beyond theory. š¤ A Lifelong Network: Build a community of peers who will likely be your colleagues for years to come. If you are a student looking to move from theory to reality, this is where the journey begins. š Ready to join the next cohort? Check the links in the comments for application details.
